Based on the animated film "Bakemono no Ko" by Mamoru Hosoda. After stumbling into a secret world of anthropomorphic beasts, a young boy must learn how to survive and search for a new home with help from his new mentors.
While the movie doesn’t do anything exceptional, I still found it to be a very heartwarming showcase of what it means to need guidance in your life. There’s also animals doing martial arts and sword fighting, which is a bonus.
The poster design was based around a particular mountain-top scene in the movie, which is the background. The foreground is a simple “time-lapse” reflecton shot, showing how the main character Kyuuta grows right before our eyes during the film.
