Based on the animated series "Neon Genesis Evangelion" by Hideaki Anno. Set in Tokyo-3 after a cataclysmic event, the show follows Shinji and his teammates as they pilot mechanized "Angels," interstellar beings found on Earth that were responsible for the cataclysm, in hopes of preventing future disasters.
The series of Neon Genesis Evangelion has gone through many mediums; games, movies, television series and light novels. All with their respective story lines, alterations and retcons. Nevertheless, it still remains a unique story.
This poster design is based around one of the mecha pilots, Asuka Langley Sohryu and her Evangelion Unit-02. The design is fairly minmalist with a large silhouette of Asuka and her mecha, a cross-cutout shape and some hexagonal detailing.
