Based on the videogame series "Monster Hunter" by Capcom and Kaname Fujioka. Set in a world where large monsters roam the land, hunters set out to get their spoils in a life-or-death battle with mythical beasts using a variety of weapons.
After sinking over 150+ hours into the game after the PC release of Monster Hunter: World, I knew I wanted to make a poster inspired by its distinct Japanese roots and grand themes of adventure, scenery and monster battles.
Poster design was based around the vast and distinct landsapes of the game world. Featuring a prominent, near-black silhouette on the foreground to contrast the minimally-colored background.
